Some fix game-breaking bugs, while others fix more subtle issues from what I understand. Robin’s patches basically fix games to work 100% with the internal emulator, Canoe. I recommend just sticking with normal audio, myself. You can read more about the tool itself and what it does, as well as the difference between PCM audio and normal audio on Dark Akuma’s site. Only new games added with the option enabled will be affected.

All new games added will now use the tool, and get patched by the tool, as long as it the option is enabled in Hakchi. In one of the drop down menus, click “enable SFROM tool”. This tells the SFROM tool to use the new patches you put in. Once it is open, press F4 to rebuild the database (or do it through the drop down menu).

Then, make sure Hakchi is closed and open the SFROM tool outside of Hakchi (from the directory by double-clicking the executable, like any other program). Patches here: ĭelete the existing items in the SFROM Tool’s patches directory (so there won’t be any conflicts), then extract Robin’s patches to that Patches directory in the SFROM Tool directory.

Then go to Robin64’s site and get the patches. Then extract it and put it in the SFROM tool folder in Hakchi’s directory. You need to download the tool from Dark Akuma’s site here: If you want to patch the game instead of using RetroArch, these would be the patching steps, credits goes to Nebulous999
